January, 2009 - Matt D. Ober Inducted Into Community Associations Institute College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL)

Richardson & Harman, PC is extremely pleased to congratulate Partner Matt Ober on his January 30, 2009 induction into the Community Associations Institute College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL).

The College of Community Association Lawyers was formed in 1993 to recognize the top community association attorneys in the United States.  With Matt's induction, this select group now numbers 105 members nationwide.

Matt's efforts this past year were also recognized with the featured publication of his article on religious and cultural tolerance Soulful Consideration in CAI National's magazine, Common Ground.  The article appeared in the November/December 2008 issue and is also available on line at Caionline.com or by contacting our offices.

On the legislative front, Matt's efforts with CAI's California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) helped bring about the enactment of SB 1511 this year, a significant piece of association assessment recovery legislation that will assist common interest developments begin to collect assessments after a senior mortgage foreclosure.  Further information on this important legislation is available through our offices.
